It’s Monday, 25 September 2023. I’m in Seattle for work. It’s late, and I take a walk.

I start at the Pike Place Fish Market. A few restaurants are still open.

The fisheries are all closed, but the ice and the signs and the lamps and the cardboard boxes aren’t going anywhere.

Maximilien ʀᴇsᴛᴀᴜʀᴀɴᴛ, outdoor seating spectacular.

The Alibi Room is still open.

An odd tradition: layers and layers of gum in this tiny alley.

Perhaps a bit labyrinthine, but I make my way to the other side.

Catwalks fascinate me. What could this be for?

The colors cycle, but I prefer the blue.

There’s a path to the waterfront.

I’m not going down, however, I’m going back up…

Nice view. Spectacular, maybe?

Lots of verticality. Reminds me of an old video game level. There’s even a guard.

Everything is closed.

And just like that, I made my way back up.

No cheese for me.

But there is one place still open…

…and after that, impeccable deals.
