Reverse engineering
Colorshifter
I made ColorShifter which creates a color cycling effect on your system theme for Windows 7/8/8.1. All your windows would RGB in sync! You could set up all sorts of color palettes and options. It used an undocumented API which doesn’t work on newer Windows.
It was a great little program! Unfortunately, I doubt it could work anymore. There’s lag every time you switch colors in the settings, and the program relies on instant color changes.
MetaSquares
I patched the now-abandonware MetaSquares for iOS 6 to work with iOS 8. This patches out all calls to UIAlertView, which was deprecated in iOS 8, and unlocks levels up to level 32. It’s janky but playable.
I also made Hypocube, a fan inspiration written for MatLab. All assets and game logic are mine.

3D printing
Stackable project trays
I designed a set of modular, stackable project trays for screws and small parts. I wanted to solve three problems:
- Being able to hold multiple trays in one hand without them separating.
- Holding larger objects, not just screws and small parts.
- Stacking them securely in a non-fiddly way.
These are the only project trays I use nowadays!

I made a Synplant 1 sample pack. It has hits, atmospherics, percussions, drones, organics and inorganics, and more.
These samples are free to use in your projects (music, game, film etc.), but do not redistribute them by themselves or as part of another sample or preset pack. Xenoblade
I’m a huge Xenoblade fan.
I made the Xenoblade Unique Enemy Generator, and also this wallpaper from someone’s scan of the XC3 collector edition.
I made a simple wallpaper changer to cycle my Monado wallpaper based on time of day.
The AWS Icon Quiz
I am the original creator of the AWS Icon Quiz. I came up with it in 2019 and made it in an hour out of sheer frustration and pain.
I posted it on Hacker News and it went viral. I got over 15000 responses. It made it into at least one official AWS training.
Someone wrote that this icon reminds them of the device from Kafka’s Penal Colony. You be the judge.
Happily, this quiz is now obsolete. AWS has all new shiny icons :)
